How to make a flash flipping paper?

I’ve heard about flipping paper recently, some kind of digital books that flip like real books. That sounds interesting, but I found that programming skills seems needed, which I know nothing. So I’m wondering if there is an easy to create a page flip book myself.

Flip PDF is a good choice for you to create PDF flip page books easily. You can make wonderful flash flipping books without any programming knowledge. Now let’s see how to make flipping paper quickly.

Step1: launch Flip PDF, and then click “Import PDF” to open the importing window.
Step2: click “Browse…” to choose a PDF file that you want to convert to page flipping book from your computer.
Step3: define pages to be imported. You can custom to only some pages of the PDF or import all. Then click “Import now” and wait for a while.

Step4: after successfully imported, do the design settings with the left panel. You can learn more details of the panel from faq1~23.

Step5: when settings done, click “Convert to flipping book”, an output option window will be opened. Choose output type and output directory, and then click “Convert” and wait for a while.

My question is: is that possible to add button to control the flash pages just like PPT? I mean buttons to guide to another page or something. Many thanks for advising.

Follow the steps:
Step1: click “edit pages”  button to open the page editing interface.
Step2: click “add button” and draw an area for it on the page.
Step3: and now there is a “button properties” window on the right side. Click “select an icon” button to choose icon file from your computer.

Step4: click “action options” to define the button action. For example, check “go to page” and input a page number in the blank to make a guiding button.

Why the links invalid when zoomed in?

I have imported some links in the flippingbook when I convert it from PDFs, at first everything goes well in presentation, until I zoomed it in. The links were invalided! They work well when zoom out and not work when zoom out, is that a BUG?

No, of course that was not a BUG, it is in case of you click links when grab the page by miss. If you want to enable links while zoomed in the flippingbook, you should switch some velum.

Firstly, the “import links” option must be checked before you start to import PDF file.

And then, find “Enable after zooming in” option and switch it to “enable”.

*Please be aware that you have to click “Apply Changes” to apply any changes to the flash book.

delete a page from the flipping book

There is one thing that bothering me. I am about to convert a PDF file to flipbook, but when I import it, I found that there are some pages which are unnecessary. I tried to delete them, as you see, I couldn’t, so I’m here and eager to a solution.

Actually, you can’t delete the pages that already imported to PDF to FlashBook, but you can choose not to import them before importing.

In the “Add File” tab, there is a “Page range to import” option, check “Custom range” and----for example, you don’t need page 11----input the page range as “1-10, 12-30”. Then the page 11 won’t be imported.

*Please be aware that you have to click “Apply Changes” to apply any changes to the flash book.

My idea is, readers can view my comic online or download as pictures or flash flipping comic book after they sign up an account and paid. And before that, they can preview the demo. So how can I create a flash demo of my comic? I mean show some of the pages of the book?

Yes, you can make a flash book demo with PDF to FlashBook (Pro).
When adding PDF file, take a look at the “page rang to import” option. You can set a page range to import, use comma to separate each page. “1-9” stands for continuous pages from page 1 to page 9.

Also, check “Quick import” to import only the first 10 pages for previewing.
